In order for the global community to chart a course towards achieving 100% clean electricity by 2050, it may be necessary to almost double the capacity of new energy generation. To mitigate this, the widespread deployment of Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) offers a cost-effective solution to address the growing demand and escalating peak energy requirements, offering a more affordable energy alternative for consumers who already find energy costs burdensome.
