VP: Agent Engineer

Are you an ambitious software engineering leader eager to drive innovation and lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced startup environment? Your Role: As the VP of Agent Engineering, you will be a key leader in our organization, responsible for: 1. Strategic Leadership: Setting the Agentic AI vision and strategy for the agent engineering team to align with Peniel Impact’s mission and business goals. 2. Team Building: Recruiting, mentoring, and leading a high- performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 3. Product Development: Overseeing the development and deployment of AI agent software solutions for clean energy systems, ensuring high quality, scalability, and performance. 4. Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, hardware engineering, and business development, to deliver integrated solutions. 5. Innovation: Driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and best practices to maintain Peniel Impact’s competitive edge in the clean energy sector. We’re looking for someone who: • Has a strong background in Agentic AI engineering and software engineering with experience in both low-level (C, Rust) and high-level (Python, C++, or Java) languages, including DevOps. • Demonstrates a proven track record of leading engineering teams and delivering successful software products. • Possesses excellent problem-solving skills and enjoys tackling complex technical challenges. • Is passionate about clean energy and sustainability. • Is a strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into technical solutions. • Can work both independently and collaboratively within a small, dynamic team. • Is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
